JustTask ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application JustTask ("App") handles your information.

The short version: Your tasks stay on your device. We don't collect, store, or have access to your personal task data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

JustTask is a local-first application. This means:

• Your tasks are stored only on your device — they are never uploaded to our servers
• We cannot see your tasks, notes, or reminders — we have no access to this data
• No cloud sync of personal data — your information stays with you

Information We May Collect

Device Information (Anonymous)

If you choose to contact support or submit feedback (in future versions), we may receive:

• Device type and iOS version
• App version
• General crash logs (if enabled by iOS)

This information is used solely to improve the app and fix bugs.

Future Features (v1.1+)

In future versions, if you choose to sign in with Apple to access community features (like submitting feature requests), we will store:

• Your Apple ID identifier (not your email unless you share it)
• Feature requests or feedback you submit
• Your votes on community suggestions

You will always be notified before any data is collected, and sign-in is optional.

Local Data Storage

The following data is stored only on your device:

• Tasks (title, notes, due dates, priorities)
• Reminder settings
• App preferences

This data is managed by iOS and is included in your iCloud backup if you have that enabled on your device. We do not have access to your iCloud backups.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, JustTask uses iOS local notifications. These notifications:

• Are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
• Do not require any server communication
• Can be disabled at any time in iOS Settings

Third-Party Services

JustTask v1.0 does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally on your device:

• You control your data — delete tasks anytime within the app
• Uninstalling the app removes all data — nothing remains on any server

Children's Privacy

JustTask does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require an account for core functionality.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
